Conciliarity and the Orthodox Tradition in the works of D. A. Khomyakov
Abstract
The article examines D.A. Khomyakov’s interpretation of the famous triad “Orthodoxy, Autocracy, Nationality”. Through analysis, the author reveals that Khomyakov adheres to Orthodox tradition and the doctrine of sobornost’. Based on the concept of sobornost’, he formulates an original historiosophical framework that integrates politics, society, family, nationality, art, and science. A distinctive feature of this framework is its focus on individuality, i.e. a pronounced personalism.
